My name is Lucien Gaydos, and I'm excited to be re-entering the world of web development.
After a successful career as a guitar technician, where I honed my problem-solving skills in a challenging industry, I'm now fully immersed in web development. I've been sharpening my skills with JavaScript, Node.js, MongoDB, Mongoose, and Express.js, and I'm diving deep into React to become a Full Stack developer.

Here are examples of my skills so far. Repositories to see the code for all of these can be found on my GitHub.
Some of these apps rely on free subscrptions of MongoDB, render.com and netlify. I give them activity weekly so that they don't get put into a sleep state but things can always change. A few may need 30 seconds to "spin up" if there's been inactivity for more than 15-30 minutes. It's not a glitch but merely a one time delay as that service wakes up if it's been inactive.

Sales Dashboard is my first app made in React and a little bit of bootstrap. It calculates the hourly wage, commission rate, the number of hours worked and calculates totals. You can also add sales objects.

The employee frontend for a fictional hotel called "Harder Rock Hotel" with themed cabins. It uses React, React Router, React Query, Context API, React Hook Form and many custom hooks.
